Led by a team with deep experience delivering charging solutions as well as critical infrastructure expertise, and a portfolio of sites already under development uniquely position Voltera to help our customers deploy and operate EVs at scale.
We are looking for an experienced Hydrogen Development Manager who will serve as the project lead for projects focused primarily on hydrogen fueling from initial site identification through the completion of conceptual design and scope closure. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading project management and communications, bringing together a wide set of both internal and external stakeholders with the goal of selecting prime sites to meet the objectives. Candidate must have a clear grasp of technical project details, and work closely with other project resources to advance projects holistically and efficiently.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead projects and project team from initial inception through completion of conceptual design and scope closure.
- Establish and maintain hydrogen/EV Charging site criteria.
- Identify and qualify potential sites taking into consideration infrastructure and permitting potential.
- Coordinate new market entry activities including but not limited to utility, municipality and economic development meetings, site tours, incentives analysis and engagement of consultants.
- Engage and manage external partnerships for site acquisitions and due diligence.
- Responsible for all due diligence items to outline all potential risks and mitigations required.
- Lead lease and purchase negotiations and documentation with support of counsel.
- Manage real estate data systems and generate reporting.
- Work closely with the customer during initial project development, working consultatively to gain alignment on project scope, cost, and schedule.
- Prepare project and site-specific test-fits.
- Develop initial project cost, schedule and risk register and lead and prepare all materials to gain internal alignment and approvals.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
MUST-HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years supporting the development of hydrogen fueling projects.
- 5+ years’ experience in project/program management.
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- 2+ years supporting the development of high-power EV charging projects
LOCATION:
Remote US - San Francisco Bay, Denver, or Washington D.C. areas preferred
Compensation ($120,000 - $160,000): Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Our total compensation package includes the base salary and competitive benefits.
