UBT are proud to be working with a well established, family run SME business who are rapidly growing and as part of their growth strategy they have created a brand new NHS Business Development Manager. You will be the front of the company selling physiotherapy equipment and consumables and will require the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The position will cover a territory from London including southern areas of the UK working in a remote capacity reporting to the head office 1-2 times per month. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through generating new business and forging strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate would have sold medical equipment in to the NHS following guidelines, have an understanding of NHS frameworks.
We are looking for a new business revenue growth of £1,000,000 and have rapid growth plans with a healthy future business pipeline. In return the company are offering a generous package including company car, uncapped bonus and opportunities to really make a difference.
Responsibilities:
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients within the NHS
- Present the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Pitching products and services to new customers and offering new services to existing customers
- Preparing product pitches and making presentations to prospective clients and investors
- Becoming a subject matter expert on the company’s business products, processes and operations and remaining up-to-date on industry news
- Responsible to grown and maintain geographical area of business
- Keep records of pipeline, sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Build long-term relationships with new customers
- Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
- Monitor and analyse key account metrics (e.g. Weekly, Monthly, quarterly sales results, product usage, meetings)
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- 3years+ Proven work experience in Sales and Business Development with a proven track record selling within the NHS
- A positive, adaptable approach to work
- The ability to plan, prospect, gain opportunities and close
- Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
- Professionalism - Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- An ability to deliver projects and answer enquiries on time
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
