What you will be doing...
As the Business development Manager you will drive the continuous growth of the Ricoh Business strategy, focusing on Vodafone. You will be responsible to drive sales and maximise solutions sales & PS opportunities, achieve new business wins and successfully ensure delivery of contracted services.
- Deliver new business wins within identified customer profile (Telecoms), to ensure achievement of personal metrics and objectives
- Responsible for maintaining and driving pipeline of opportunities focusing on new business strategy and all Ricoh lines of business
- To proactively build positive relationships, targeting C-level stakeholders to promote all lines of services in order to be recognised as the market leaders and drive new business opportunities
- Responsible for building commercial awareness of unexploited industries aligned to Ricoh sales teams; ensuring all opportunities are maximised and competitive advantage is maintained
- To work in conjunction with the Ricoh global service sales strategy, supporting and delivering European/global tenders to successfully attain business wins
- Responsible for continually reviewing current and future business opportunities. Identify strengths, threats and weaknesses of competitor products and solutions to exploit all potential competitive advantage and to ensure a robust strategy is executed
- Be responsible for the evaluation of customer requirements, assess potential contractual liability for Ricoh and create proposals/plans with including quotes and pricing which maximize Ricoh’s offering to customers
- Proactively engage and develop a successful long term roadmap with identified customer to ensure the sales opportunities are exploited, customer requirements met and are in line business strategy
- To be responsible for regular forecasting and maintaining CRM management information to ensure Senior Management to track progress against budget
You will ideally have...
- Excellent and engaging presentation skills
- Experience in the Telecoms industry
- Good understanding of industry awareness, product, and solutions knowledge, preferably Ricoh portfolio.
- Experience of selling Managed, Professional & Solution services
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Must be commercially astute including in depth knowledge of target market, industry trends and decision-making process
- Adopt a logical, strategic, and analytical approach to problem solving
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail is required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate confidentiality, commitment, and flexibility at all times
- Competent level in all MS Office Packages
- Ability to think innovatively and creatively Influence senior leadership and ability to connect with senior stakeholders (both internal and external)
