Our client can produce new bespoke air filters in as little as 48 hrs, offering rapid prototyping and testing of new designs for race teams on tight schedules. Responsibilities
- To understand the business capabilities and services, drive new business opportunities, maximise sales and enhance portfolio of clients
- Continuously monitor and provide quarterly market research on market trends, developments, competitors, and potential customers and assist with the development of the sales strategy
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
- Build and maintain key customer relationships to ensure that sales opportunities are maximised, and the customer is satisfied
- Be a driving force generating new sales leads and contracts
- Be responsible for following up and developing new business opportunities and targeting new markets; identifying business opportunities and keeping abreast of current market conditions
- Support the preparation of quotes for new business
- Arrange and attend meetings with both new and existing clients, ensuring professional representation of both product and brand
- Produce detailed proposals and presentations which meet the needs of the customer requirements
- Attend relevant conferences, seminars, shows, exhibitions, and networking events to actively generate leads
- Follow up on all sales enquiries in a timely manner
- Achieve agreed sales targets and KPI’s
- Manage internal Sales Force system and ensure that it is used effectively and ensure all relevant data is in entered with accuracy.
Essential Skills
- Proven track record and experience working in the field of business development, sales or in a similar sector
- Strong customer facing skills and relationship management both internal and external
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to speak to new and existing customers
- Proven organisational skills and excellent time management
- Desire to achieve targets in a fast-paced working environment
- A passion to thrive and work within the Automotive industry
- Use of Microsoft packages – Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Ability to use Sales software systems
- Previous experience of developing and delivering presentations to inspire and educate clients
- Excellent negotiation skills and commercial awareness
- Understanding the importance of Time, Quality and Cost on projects
- Discipline to follow technical and administrational procedures
- A drive to learn and improve at every opportunity.
Desirable Skills
- Business/ Master’s degree/Engineering degree -equivalent within a relevant subject
- Engineering/Manufacturing design knowledge
