Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance + OTE to £100,000

Our Business Development Managers focus on new business within the Public Sector.
We have an exciting portfolio of solutions which enable the sales team here at Arrow Public Sector to provide innovative cloud-based solutions to the NHS and Healthcare, to Housing Associations and local government too.
We want Solution Sales Specialists with a proven track record of developing and winning innovative and technically complex Data Centre, Cloud and/or Network solutions.
The role of the BDM will be to understand the capabilities of Arrow Public Sector and working as part of a wider team to take products and services to the marketplace and position with clients, driving business growth. The target market for Arrow Public Sector is predominantly within the NHS and Healthcare, Local Government and Social Housing Sector or organisations that work alongside these sectors.
We are looking for candidates who are experienced in growing their own portfolio of clients.
What you’ll do
- Your experience will allow you to identify, profile and engage prospective clients that align with the strategic direction of Arrow.
- You will have the opportunity to drive the future development of solution offerings, based on your experience and marketplace knowledge.
- This is a UK wide role and travelling to client sites is an essential part of the business.
- Develop a robust Sales Pipeline which reflects the agreed sales development plan that you present, and this should maintain a minimum cover ratio of 3:1 (for example) – which will be a mix across our in-house expertise.
- Develop solutions which follow the groups strategic portfolio, you are responsible for your own direction.
- Maintain required management reporting information that will include, but is not limited to the CRM system, Account Development Plans, and accurate forecasting information.
- Learn and understand the end-to-end proposition of Arrow’s 4 C’s – Collaboration, Connectivity, Cloud Infrastructure and Cyber Security.
- Work to achieve individual targets & KPIs, contribute when required to the wider team’s targets and goals.
