We are seeking experienced Business Development Managers to join our rapidly growing business in the Essex and East London Territory

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Business Development Manager will work to identify potential estate agents, mortgage brokers, new homes developers and other companies, ensuring we become their preferred partners for conveyancing referrals.
Working within a geographically agreed territory, the individual will work as part of a wider BDM team to onboard and retain referral partners, developing sustainable long-term relationships. There is a requirement to work internal leads as well as proactively reaching out to potential referrers through cold calls, e-mails and branch visits.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Identify conveyancing partnership opportunities within Estate Agents, Mortgage Brokers and New Homes Developers
- Develop new relationships to grow business and help the company grow
- Retain existing referral partnerships through relationship management and identifying growth opportunities
- Maintain and develop a prospect database (using the agreed CRM) within the geographically agreed territory
- Support and work with colleagues in the BDM team
- Achieve targets set each month for conveyancing referrals and instructions
- Deliver training to support partner firms on conveyancing referrals
Our Ideal Candidate will:
- Proven Sales experience
- Experience of the UK residential estate agency sector
- An understanding of the conveyancing process
- Experience in working to targets
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs – Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- An understanding of using sales CRMs
- Ability to communicate at all levels, present and influence
- Experience in delivering customer focused solutions based on customer needs
- Excellent telephone manner with the ability to build relationships
- Target orientated
