We are MOOPS, the first specialized Middle Office Consultancy, SAAS and Outsourcing solutions for both Tradfi and Digital Asset firms.
The importance of having streamlined and efficient Middle Office solutions has not been paid enough attention, which has resulted in the downfall of many reputable Asset managers, in particular Digital Asset firms.
At MOOPS, we believe automated & smart middle office functions are as important as the front-end trading solutions, not only to meet economies of scale but to be in sync with the ever-changing regulatory environment.
Job Description:
This is a role for someone who is knowledgeable, well connected in the Digital Assets space and is interested in leading business development and partnership efforts on a first-to-market product, with the support of the talented MOOPS executive team.
As the Sales & Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for defining the company’s overall sales strategy and targets, as well as building and leading a high-performing regional sales team.
You will work closely with the executive team to identify and develop new growth opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and drive the growth of the business.
Leading by example, you will be a hands-on and motivated sales leader working closely with our relationship directors and the marketing team to identify and develop new growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of our products and the latest developments across Crypto and Tradfi space
- Use this understanding as a basis to establish your own partnerships pipeline which entails:
- Identifying prospective partners
- Sharing integration and partnership ideas with internal colleagues
- Conducting initial outreach
- Supporting and leading partnership discussions
- Negotiating and finalizing partnerships
- Retaining and developing existing partnerships
- Work on both inbound and outbound product integrations
- Develop a strong and warm network of key contacts across the ecosystems we’re active in
- Understand and take into consideration the risks of partnering with other entities in the space.
Desired Experience:
- You have 2+ years of experience in a Business Development and/or Partnerships role in the Web3 space.
- You are well connected in the Tradfi & Digital Asset Web3 NFT/DeFi/Web3 space.
- You have a passion for crypto, and a solid understanding of recent global trends and use cases.
- Strong interpersonal skills suited to long-term relationship building.
- Strong analytic capacity to understand and explain crypto-based solutions.
- Ability to implement scalable growth strategies.
- Be a true new business hunter that thrives on winning.
Nice to have
- Experience in a rapidly scaling crypto company would be a big plus.
- Prior experience working in a start-up, tech company or consultancy firm.
- Passion for crypto and Web3 company
