About the Role
We are currently recruiting a high calibre Sr. Business Development Manager to continue the company’s year-on-year growth. This is a new role and a great opportunity to play a key part in the next exciting stage of our journey. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates a consultative sales ethos, in addition to delivering a range of account management and client recruitment activities.
This role is responsible for continuing the expansion of the Business Development Team, increasing customer awareness of Inventya’s full-service suite. In addition, with our customer journey at the heartbeat of the business delivery, it is essential that the successful candidate puts the client at the forefront of all aspects of the role, through tasks and initiatives. Being comfortable and confident in managing the sales cycle from prospect to closing and follow up, in order to achieve pre-determined Key Performance Indicators. You will have the ability to positively influence at an executive level and carry confidence, desire and honest values through all behaviours.
Requirements
- Working closely with Business Development Managers to close sales qualified leads.
- Contribute to developing client reach out strategies
- Qualifying client enquiries using pre-defined client criteria. Ability to assess client suitability for different services in a
shorter period of time will be paramount.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients by showing empathy and connecting with their growth challenges
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads and new business opportunities in order to achieve and exceed agreed targets
- Being the key point of contact for the client during their journey with the business, ensuring strong, growing relationships whilst realizing their requirements
- Developing and implementing the company’s business development strategy to meet our ambitious growth targets
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships with new and existing clients
- Experience in negotiating and closing deals with SME segment
- Hosting and attending conferences, meetings and industry events across the UK to promote commercial offerings
- Building relationships with existing and potentially new and channel partners, to generate key client referrals
- Deliver timely, high quality service contracts for clients where applicable
- Updating and presenting monthly sales dashboard/reports to the senior management.
Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Science
- Clear understanding of Business Development Management principles
- Ability to prioritize multiple activities in a dynamic environment
- Excellent time-management skills, able to prioritize key tasks
- Ability to align pipeline with internal departmental resource expectations
- Demonstrable ability to forge credible relationships with all key stakeholders
- A proactive, methodical approach to exploit and develop new business opportunities
- Self-motivated with a desire to achieve professional excellence in a fast-paced Consultancy Services environment
- Experience of engaging with high level decision makers, ranging from Directors to Head of Departments
- Outstanding communicator with the ability to engage, understand and develop client relations driving innovation
- Demonstrable experience in overachieving monthly/quarterly/annual targets and experience of developing and closing new B2B sales, consistently meeting sales targets
