Job Description:
Under the direction of the Sales Leader, the Business Development Manager ensures the meeting of short and long term goals for Sales volume and profitability, retains current customers, prospects, attracts and establishes new customers and business ventures within the scope of corporate and strategic business initiatives, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Business Development Manager responsible for:
- Prospecting new business from new and existing customers
- Current customer relationship and account management
- Coordinates and completes pricing estimates
- Presents pricing details and manufacturing improvements to customer
- Facilitates and assists in meeting new requirements with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and support functions.
- Provides project management for new projects from pricing to award thru production start to service life
- Projects sales growth and profitability, including conducting analysis of existing and emerging markets to identify new sales opportunities
- Assist in the development of goals and objectives; monitor progress.
- Creation and development of new prospect relationships
- Reviews requirements with prospective customers by defining specifications and capability needs
Education and Skillsets:
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or other applicable areas of study
- 2 years or more of related Sales experience
- Microsoft Office Package (emphasis on excel and powerpoint)
- Mathematical skillset in basic algebra
- Requirement of B2 Level English speaking and writing skills
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Read and negotiate in contractual business agreements
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- Ability to work within a dynamic team and effectively lead
- Ability to close sales and provide sustainable and profitable growth for the business
Work Requirements:
- 40-60 hrs/week
- Travel (40-90%)
- Cross coordination with Global Teams
- Attendance in weekly sales and operational meetings
- Additional requirements as needed to perform this position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £50,000.00-£130,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
