The role:
You will be responsible for generating new leads for bespoke learning solutions for global clients utilising existing and curated data sources. You will undertake high levels of outbound activity across multiple channels to uncover leads which can be passed on to an experienced team of Client Relationship Managers to close and complete post-sale activity.
You will be an integral part of the team, trusted and relied upon to generate high-quality leads. You will represent the business in front of major brands, often for the first time creating a lasting positive first impression.
Your efforts will create real growth for our business and you will be essential to expansion into new and existing markets.
Key responsibilities:
- Adopt a structured, campaign-based approach to reach new and existing target markets using multiple channels including LinkedIn, e-mail and telephone
- Conduct follow-up activity to support business development and marketing campaigns
- Research target accounts to identify the appropriate personae for outreach
- Record all activity accurately and promptly in salesforce.com
- To develop a suitable knowledge of banking & finance and learning & development to be able to have credible client conversations
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
- Successful track record of 2-5 years in B2B business development, ideally in the HR solutions space, especially learning
- Proven ability to quickly build rapport with prospects, demonstrating credibility and quickly earning their trust
- Pro-active approach to conducting outbound client communications
- Excellent business English skills with an ability to write simply, clearly and concisely
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time-management skills

- Good working knowledge of salesforce.com
- Interest in financial services and/or learning & development
While the salary is set at up to £45k, the OTE is £70k.
