An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to require a Sales Account Manager to generate new business from our Scottish office based in Livingston. This is the chance for the right individual to be the ‘Sales Face’ of our Scottish office.

Job Purpose

· To generate New Sales and New Business Opportunities by Cold Calling by Phone, Face to Face and Networking.

· This will include developing a strong Pipeline of Quotations and Proposals to meet defined Sales Targets.

· You will be required to present all our services and offer solutions to new client’s needs.

· Ability to cross sell multiple services that Enertech offers.

Key Accountabilities

· Joining as a " Business Sales Development Manager " you will be responsible for driving new business and utilising your network and experience with the wider team and the UK Head of Sales, you will also be tasked with breaking into new markets.

· This is a “target led” position where targets will be set monthly/quarterly, so a go-getter attitude, tenacity, and resilience are crucial.

· Generating weekly new Business Opportunities by Cold Calling both on the Phone and Face to Face.

· Generating your own appointments to sell our services to New Clients

· Increasing the New Customer Base in and around Leeds and Northwest areas.

· Consistently meet and exceed Sales Targets

· Develop and implement an ongoing Pipeline of New Business

· Accurately forecast Monthly Sales Pipeline

· Maintain a good up to date knowledge of Facilities Management, Statutory Compliance, the Market, and our competitors within them

· Working closely with Contract Managers

Key Requirements

  • Experience in cold calling new B2B Customers both on the Phone and Face to Face is essential.
  • Experience/working knowledge of Facilities Maintenance and /or Mechanical, Gas, AC, Electrical, BMS, Plumbing and Statutory Compliance marketplace or Building Services would be beneficial but not compulsory.
  • Experience of selling a Service or Solution into Facilities, Estates, Schools, the Public Sector or directly to Property Managers or Estate Managers would be a distinct advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years of proactive B2B Sales on target performance in a similar sales role
  • Self-Motivated and Self-Driven to work independently and achieve sales targets.
  • Ability to source New Business data leads from a multitude of resources and build your own database of potential customers.
  • A successful and consistent track record of Solution-Based Sales with proven experience of Closing New Business.
  • A strong understanding of the Sales Process and Closing Techniques.
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal with strong presentation skills.
  • Must be highly organised, sales focused and knowledgeable.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills – ability to understand the needs of customers and deliver the correct sales proposal to them
  • Ability to build, and maintain effective working relationships with both your Customers and the Contract Managers
  • Computer literate with both MS Word and Excel.
  • Existing customer contacts would definitely be an added bonus.

Other requirements

· Must live within the region and be able to initially travel to the office daily.

· Ability to travel within the region and other parts of the UK as required.

· Ability to work flexibly outside of normal working office hours when necessary to meet customer or company requirements.

· Full clean driving license

Organisational structure

· Reports to UK Head of Sales

· Work alongside the Contract Management Team and the Helpdesk Team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
