- Develop tools and provide strategic analysis of sales out data
- Establish a dashboard capturing key information such as 1/ pax data 2/ key nationalities’ movement 3/ Market shares
- Review and analyse our profitability by market and A&P spend effectiveness
- Business Case + NPD follow-up
- Responsible for the analysis and communication of business insights and performance (category, commercial, consumer) to key stakeholders in the organization. The role will also be responsible for determining the right set of supporting KPI and metrics.
- Lead with global team the annual Brand Health Tracker + deploy results and provide Reco
- Manage relations with global CMI team and lead the GTR implications to global research + lead any GTR specific needed research with results analysis and reco.
- Continually optimize the reporting infrastructure between regions and markets to facilitate a monthly / quarterly reporting cadence
- Lead strategic presentations and projects as needed
- Mentor and upskill junior analytics and insights professionals to strengthen the overall analytics capabilities
To be successful in this role, you will require robust knowledge of the industry, ideally with significant experience in travel retail or working across global travel retail environments. A deep understanding of the global travel retail market is essential, including the diverse formats of travel retail (airports, downtown duty-free gallerias, cruise, private jet terminals, e commerce click and collect, border stores and more), across multiple markets which entail various complexities and market dynamics with a high degree of independent evaluative judgement. You will be highly innovative, self-directed, and able to navigate complex situations, lead decision making and guide the team within an ambiguous environment with minimum direction.
