Apply Digital is a high-growth digital experience consultancy that works with brands like Kraft Heinz, Moderna, The Very Group, John Lewis & Partners, Lego, Burberry and LVMH. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help us hit and exceed our aggressive growth targets in Europe. The role will be based in the United Kingdom and will have some Continental European regions within its territory.

Our preferred candidate builds strong, trusted relationships. They have a passion for all things digital - strategy, products, platforms and commerce - and are comfortable speaking with executives about how digital can transform their company and drive real business value.

  • Develop a territory sales plan including key targets and stakeholders
  • Perform outreach to prospects and decision makers working in close collaboration with our BDR, Events and Marketing teams
  • Build relationships and plans with the sales reps from our Alliance partners - software firms, agencies, service firms and VCs
  • Qualify new opportunities, we’re big on sales process and excellence throughout a cycle and utilize a number of tools, techniques and processes (MEDDPIC/Sandler/Value Pyramids/Champs)
  • Lead internal pitch team on proposal development and pitch presentations
  • Work closely with Client Partners to close deals and negotiate business terms
  • Build awareness and generate leads by attending networking events
  • Support BD marketing & events strategy to optimize lead generation
  • Follow up on Apply Digital marketing campaigns and inbound leads


  • 5+ years experience in acquiring new clients for a digital agency, digital product studio, management consulting or ecommerce agency
  • Based in UK with a deep network and expertise in selling/consulting in the area
  • A proven hunter and networker with a track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets, and with strong consultative sales skills
  • Prior experience closing £1M+ services contracts in any of the following industries: Healthcare, B2B, Consumer Goods, Retail, Media/Entertainment
  • A strategic relationship builder and great listener who can quickly develop trust and build rapport
  • Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and an adept negotiator
  • Solid interpersonal skills – you’re comfortable working alongside technical directors, salespeople, designers, and CEOs alike
  • A natural storyteller with the ability to take clients on a journey
  • Ability to compellingly position an up-front strategy & planning work to prospects
  • Nice to have - Prior experience selling content modernization projects such as large scale, multi property migrations and re-platforming
  • Nice to have - Strong network across MACH based technology vendors (commercetools, BigCommerce, Amplience, Contentful, Constructor, Algolia, Fluent Commerce etc) and prospects in the UK & Continental Europe
