Salary – £40,000 to £100,000 OTE depending on experience

The Role
This role will focus on new business-generating activities to secure more revenue, hit departmental targets and increase market dominance.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar business development role. You’ll be experienced in a consultative style sell, in a technical or senior-level environment, which is required to build client confidence and trust, with suitable objection handling techniques to win instructions.
In return, you’ll receive a salary commensurate with experience and excellent career prospects. The role is office based, with occasional travel for client meetings and seminars.
Main Responsibilities
- Contact potential clients via phone, email or any other necessary means to introduce our suite of CYFOR services.
- Follow up on Marketing efforts to secure new business opportunities.
- Maintain business relationships with existing clients by regular contact by phone, email or meetings.
- Ensure the best possible client experience.
- Contribute to developing new programs and ideas to attract new revenue streams.
- Promote a culture of excellence, cooperation, and respect within and beyond the department.
- Ensure all activities are carried out to the highest possible standards and put the necessary evaluation and monitoring procedures in place to ensure compliance and improvement.
- Attend and present at networking events and seminars to enhance the CYFOR brand.
- Keep up to date with industry updates and changes. Including changes in legislation, competitor merges and new technology.
- Add to, amend and update our company Salesforce database with client details and activity when business support is unavailable.
- To engage with and support CYFOR’s Quality Team in the accreditation and certification of the company to regulatory standards.
- Always dress and act professionally.
- To lead by example, demonstrating professionalism to colleagues commensurate with the post.
- To comply with safe working practices.
- To participate and engage in the Staff 1-1 and review process.
- Any other tasks that may be required from time to time.
Skills and Experience
- A highly motivated, organised, proactive and enthusiastic individual.
- Genuine work ethic, who has a proven track record of developing and nurturing new and existing client relationships.
- Personable, charismatic and friendly demeanour with confidence in networking.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Presentable when representing the CYFOR brand outside the office.
Please note – Depending upon skills and experience, we will review which CYFOR division is most appropriate.

This role will require security clearance to SC level, please advise if you are a holder otherwise, we will need to carry out vetting.
