The Account Management Professional assists with customer operations and impacts account success within a defined portfolio and may coordinate a team through the execution of high priority account initiatives and activities.
What you’ll be doing
1. Executes account activity and success positioning as a key contact throughout the lifecycle of the customer.
2. Supports the implementation of the BT group sales strategy with key customer accounts in order to contribute to the growth of revenue pools.
3. Supports and drives as a member of an account facing team empowering an ability to drive outcomes within the portfolio of accounts areas by selling strategic services.
4. Provides support when reaching out and prospecting to corporates that aren't active customers.
5. Supports customers' success by acting as a facilitator to meet a needs.
6. Supports account leads in addressing customer needs and challenges.
7. Collates comprehensive information on products and services, ensuring knowledge is current.
8. Supports critical customer-facing activities including executive engagement, company visits, briefings, and ideation workshops.
9. Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the account management team.

What you'll bring
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales / account management / business development role.
- Experience in a Telecoms background with an understanding of core products such as leased line, VOIP, Mobile and Cloud Services is desirable.
- Experience in utilising CRM systems to capture information, management pipeline and forecast sales (Salesforce CRM experience advantageous).
- The ability to hit and exceed sales targets
- Offers advice and makes recommendations based on expertise, suggesting solutions and improvements. Become a ‘Trusted Advisor’ to business customers.
