Regional Supply Chain Expert / Business Development Manager
Identifies opportunities for revenue expansion in support of the supply chain strategy within Avnet SILICA. Develops new business relationships with both new and existing customer/supplier. Develops and proposes a supply chain solution relevant for the specific opportunity (Region vs. /MYSUPPLY).

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieve sales targets, by design-in of supply chain engagements, delivering on profitability goals for Avnet SILICA
- Build a sound knowledge and become a subject matter expert in the Supply Chain as a Service solution offering from Avnet SILICA / Avnet.
- Identify customer and/or supplier problem statement, and discuss business objectives
- Responsible for ownership of action between the customer and Avnet regarding supply chain opportunity and delivery of solution (also having responsibility for any /MYSUPPLY only customer relationship)
- Meet with customers & suppliers within region locally to identify supply chain opportunities and match to our offerings.
- Define the project mandate, and conduct feasibility assessment
- Produce supply chain program solution, and coordinate generation of proposal and pricing statement
- Provide best individual service to customers as well as information on our products and services.
- Develop and maintain customer business plan and ensure alignment between customer requirements and global company goals.
- Build strong proactive relationship with ‘Avnet SILICA industrial CAM’ org.
- Negotiate
- when applicable new contracts with customers with cooperation from relevant Sales, asset, operational management, and Legal departments.
- terms and conditions of sales according to Avnet policies (i.e. payment terms, delivery, freight, packaging, special handling, handling charges, etc.).
- Investigate and resolve in a timely manner customer & supplier issue (existing core customer via core operational flow, /MYSUPPLY customer via SSCO operational flow)
- Advise local management of market conditions and competitive activities that might affect sales and potential opportunities.
- To travel to sites of the customer when required
Qualifications:
- Experience in sales/relationship management, and supply chain preferably within the semiconductor component industry
- Ability to present and communicate in a professional manner
- Very good negotiation and influencing skills
- Very good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment
