Job Summary:
The Employment and Apprenticeship Officer is responsible for supporting our apprentice in their search for employment. They work closely with employers to identify job opportunities, and provide support throughout the apprenticeship process.
The Employment and Apprenticeship Officer must have a thorough understanding of the labour market, employment legislation, and the apprenticeship process to provide high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct job market research to identify employment opportunities and skill requirements in various industries.
- Build relationships with local employers, to facilitate employment and apprenticeship opportunities for our apprentice.
- Identify suitable providers who support.
- Provide guidance and support to apprentice in creating resumes, cover letters, and job applications.
- Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to job seekers to help them prepare for job interviews.
- Advise job seekers on relevant apprenticeship schemes and provide support throughout the application and selection process.
- Monitor and support during their employment and liaise with employers to ensure that the apprenticeship is progressing well.
- Manage data and maintain accurate records of employment and apprenticeship activities and outcomes.
- Provide regular reports on employment and apprenticeship activities to management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Communication Skills: As an Employment and Apprenticeship Officer, you will be communicating with a range of people from job seekers, employers, and training providers. Therefore, it is essential to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Networking: Building and maintaining relationships with potential employers, job seekers, and training providers is crucial to the success of an Employment and Apprenticeship Officer.
- Analytical Skills: Must be able to analyse data and reports to identify trends and make informed decisions to match job seekers with suitable job opportunities.
- Customer Service: You will be dealing with both job seekers and employers, and therefore, excellent customer service skills are necessary.
- Organisation and Time Management: You will be juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities, including coordinating interviews, following up with employers and job seekers, and administrative duties.
Overall, an Employment and Apprenticeship Officer should be proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work well under pressure.

Salary: £21,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
