Business Development Manager (Employee Benefits) - 12 months contract

Salary: £35,000 + commission

As a Business Development Manager, you will be a dynamic, resilient, hands on & experienced salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced environment, succeeds when dealing with multiple challenges and can seamlessly integrate into the wider business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and convert new prospects in the employee benefits market
  • Manage relationships with third party benefit providers and their clients
  • Build a pipeline in line with sales targets
  • Renew and grow existing business
  • Negotiate new business deals with new clients maximise revenue
  • Negotiate Terms of Business and Data Protection Agreements with clients
  • Able to meet objections to secure business
  • Regularly check campaign progression and act on information accordingly to ensure engagement and increased revenue
  • Internal sales with occasional face to face client meetings
  • Manage client portfolio and expand its full potential
  • Keep records using Ello platform

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Ability to instigate and maintain relationships
  • Previous B2B Sales experience
  • Capable of communicating at all levels
  • Able to listen and respond appropriately
  • To act as an ambassador for Ello ensuring that your behaviour reflects well on the company
  • Be able to plan and prioritise workload
