Job description
In this role, you will be working in Veson Nautical's Vessels Value division. VesselsValue provides online delivered data and analytical products to the Maritime sector. We are looking for a hardworking, self-motivated and confident team member with a strong commercial background and a successful track record of converting leads into new business sales.
Responsibilities
- Increasing the client base through lead conversion
- Selling the VesselsValue product and services; offering current and new data sets to provide custom solutions for prospective clients.
- Working with the Management, Development and Research teams to co-ordinate and deliver effective campaigns.
- Less than 25% travel annually
Qualifications
- Tenacious and resourceful in reaching the relevant contacts and decision makers within the company.
- Previous experience in developing new business is essential, preferably in data sales.
- Confident in cold calling companies from generated leads
- Drive and Motivation. Energy and Activity.
- Experience in sales with a track record of winning new business.
- Ability to think strategically and build a plan to drive sales further.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Ability to present to both small and large audiences.
- Understanding of the maritime sector.
