The Role
We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive, working on a part-time or consultancy basis. The perfect candidate will need to have a proven track record of working with a creative production company and/or agency, bringing with you relationships with agency producers, creatives and ECDs.
You will promote Progress and obtain new work for our already established brand, to mould and drive our New Business initiative.
- Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
- Working with other key stakeholders to develop Progress as an authority in our industry, acquiring briefs to be pitched on
- Developing and implementing a New Business strategy, working to a fixed financial and client acquisition target per quarter
- Monitoring competitor products, adjusting strategy where necessary
- Exploring viable avenues for company promotion across PR, marketing and social platforms
- Attending events and opportunities to network and showcase the work of the company, acting as a Progress ambassador at all times
- Preparing periodic sales reports to review and analyse performances by showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
The Ideal Candidate
- Experienced in an advertising agency/media production environment
- A proven track record of winning new work and establishing long-term relationships with clients from a range of backgrounds
- In-depth knowledge and a wide contact list in the advertising and content landscape
- Powerful presentation skills
- An innovative and proactive approach to creating a New Business Strategy
- A positive individual with energy and enthusiasm, driven by targets
- An exceptional communicator with a willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed and inspire and motivate your team
Full-time, part-time and consultancy basis positions are available.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From £30,000.00 per year
