SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive on a full-time basis based in Nottingham.
It is essential you are able to drive to be successful for this role and you will be expected to be on the road visiting clients.
It is a must that the successful candidate has previous business development/sales experience and can confidently conduct sales calls/meetings. Ideally you will have experience in B2B sales.
Your duties will include:
- Generate new leads that match the ideal buyer profiles to build credibility, gather business information and identify opportunities
- Manage sales opportunities and individual pipeline from initial qualification through to close
- Monitor website visitors, identify potential prospects within the business and connect to generate opportunities
- Arrange and conduct qualification calls with sales enquiries to qualify opportunities, excite them about the company and convert them to the next step
- Meet with clients face to face or online
- Ensure all contact and deal information, communications, actions and forecasts are recorded and kept up to date in the CRM system
- Report lead quality, drop out and customer feedback to help planning changes to maximise results and achieve the best return on investment
- Conduct market research and gather customer insights to help shape the businesses market-led approach
- Support the team with administration and co-ordination as needed
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
- Feed back to business options for improvement in product/ delivery
- Dealing with current customers, up-selling and maximizing sales opportunity
- Taking responsibility for all enquiries through to completion
- Promoting communications and new services
- Working with the team on prospecting activities
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience of working within a business development/Sales role
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Negotiation skills
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated a good time management skills
- Experience in a high-value B2B sales role
- Experience of consultative selling
- Understanding of the Smart Building environment
- Experience of IoT selling
Working Hours; Monday - Friday 9.00 AM - 5.30 PM
Salary; £30,000 - £35,000 + Competitive Bonus
