An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Business Development Representative to join a family owned recycling and resource recovery business. Fast paced, high growth business at a time of huge investment and development.
We are seeking to further expand our growing sales team to complement our productivity and further establish Ellgia as the waste and recycling provider of choice in East Anglia.

Independently owned, Ellgia provides wide ranging bespoke commercial waste services, recycling, and waste processing across the East of England, including Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Humberside, and East Yorkshire through our four regional depots.
About you:
Ellgia are looking for an experienced sales professional who has the ability to solution sell and directly meet the customers needs and requirements.
A skilled fact finder with the ability to establish a solid proposition to meet the customer requirement utilising the resources available within Ellgia and our solution partners portfolios.
A key asset to our business to help drive our expansion programme delivering our service propositions in a professional and competent style.
A team player that is able to show empathy and understanding
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Business Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting and growing the territory.
- Utilising inbound leads, outbound contact, calls, emails and socials contact.
- Managing a full pipeline via the CRM system.
- Qualifying prospects based on their current business challenges and needs using targeted and relevant questions.
- Meeting qualified targets every month.
- Working to sales targets and incentives, whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Experience & Skills needed:
- Previous experience in an outbound role is advantages.
- Previous experience in waste sector advantageous
- Strong communication skills.
- High motivation and ambition.
- Ambition to meet targets and build robust client relationships.
- The drive to exceed in the high-growth environmental sector
