About My Client

My client is a fast-growing Digital Marketing Agency, made up of a team of creative individuals who are on a mission to become one of the best marketing agencies in the UK. They are looking for a hardworking, results-driven individual to join their Sales team as a Business Development Executive.

This is not a junior position. At least 3+ years of experience in Sales is a must. They are also looking for someone who has either worked in Sales at a Marketing Agency before or has previous experience working in Marketing.

What will the role consist of?

They are looking for a confident, driven & bright individual who will report to the Account Director. You will be responsible for driving the business's success in the form of new business opportunities utilising a combination of inbound and outbound leads strategies to ensure you hit your monthly targets. Working closely with new and existing clients, you will look to develop sales strategies, host meetings, submit proposals, and manage your pipeline effectively. Role Requirements:
  • Calling potential & existing clients
  • Develop your book of business and upsell to existing accounts
  • Have an understanding of marketing
  • Assisting Directors with strategic decision making
  • Achieve KPI’s set out by the Account Director
  • Weekly meetings with senior management to provide monthly sales forecasts
  • Writing client proposals
  • Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and find creative solutions to client-specific needs
  • Maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports and dashboards - for directors & clients
  • Continually update the company’s CRM to ensure your work is noted.

Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 3+ years working in Sales
  • Must be hardworking, driven & have an eye for detail
  • Must be able to make solid decisions, as well as take direction

Preferred Skills:
  • Someone who is optimistic, personal and friendly
  • The ability to analyse results and create plans
  • Someone who can take initiative
  • Experienced in Sales within a Marketing Agency or previous Marketing Experience
  • Confident in writing
  • Able to think objectively and outside the box
  • Someone who driven to learn to add value to the team and their role in the business
  • Excellent time-keeping, focused & organised
