About us
Currency Farm is a foreign exchange and global payments specialist based in Southend. We predominantly work with small/medium-sized businesses and high net-worth individuals, as their trusted FX partner.
We are at the early stages of our business journey and looking to expand our sales teams to aid with our growth plans. Opportunities will arise for the right candidates to move into senior roles as we believe in training and promoting internally.
We are looking for 2-3 Business Development Executives to join our team and help us grow our business.
Initially the role will be phone based with an expectation to make 90+ outbound calls per day to potential prospects - introducing our services and aiming to set up a second call with key decision maker(s). You will have ongoing training to enable you to competently and professionally manage the full sales cycle to onboard new clients independently. As you mature through the role, emphasis will become less on the outbound calls and focus will transfer to revenue targets and delivering a high level of service through alternative mediums (telephone, zoom, meeting and network events etc)
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of the sales process. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a fast-growing organisation, progress into senior roles and be rewarded financially.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Maintain consistent contact during sales cycle by building relationships
- Develop sales plans and strategies to meet objectives.
- Develop and implement marketing plans for products and services.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and trends.
- Monitor industry trends and developments to ensure competitive advantage.
- Manage sales pipeline
- Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
Experience
- 6-12 months sales experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- CRM experience is preferred
- Experience in managing a sales pipeline
- Medium to strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite inc Outlook.
Salary
- Probation Period - £15k to £20320 (national minimum wage = age dependent)
- Post probation - £4k increase in salary
- Upcapped commission structure from day 1
- OTE 1st Year £27 - £33k (minimum estimates based on targets)
- OTE 2nd Year £40k -£45k
- OTE 3rd Year £75K+

Salary: £15,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
