Our goal is to make clean power accessible, to accelerate the shift to zero carbon power and transport.

We’re transforming grids to enable the take up of more renewables, electrifying fleets for cleaner air, repurposing electric vehicle batteries for clean portable power and using proprietary software and data analysis to optimise operational performance for our customers.

We have 225 MW of operational and under construction grid scale battery capacity and over 30% of the UK’s EV buses, and are expanding our operations in Australia, New Zealand, US and Europe. We’re a rapidly growing company looking for talented people to join us.

We don’t expect you to be a sector expert, a basic understanding of eMobility is desirable however more importantly is your passion and enthusiasm to learn, good IT, written and oral skills and confident client facing. You will be report into a Director of Business Development, provided with all the necessary training and support and access to our in-house experts who will support across engineering, delivery, finance, legal to help you structure our customer propositions.

A TASTE OF THE DAY TO DAY

  • Supporting our business development growth strategy and pipeline of opportunities
  • Working on key customer accounts and relationship building
  • Maintaining our CRM platform for your key accounts
  • Engaging with our channel partners and supply chain
  • Support Client pitches and site visits
  • Support the development of technical and commercial customer proposal and bids
  • Supporting with energy and transportation data analytics
  • Developing compelling propositions and managing the relationship to contract close
  • Building financial models with the support of supply chain and finance teams
  • Preparing high quality internal InvestCom papers
  • Supporting the closure of deals
  • Contributing to the strategy process – including identifying opportunities to take Zenobe experience to other target markets (e.g. Europe/US)

  • Entry level opportunity for an individual with a background in either engineering, finance or a business development degree
  • Highly motivated and engaging, willingness to work in a team with excellent communicative and coordination skills
  • A genuine passion in clean energy sector
  • University degree – ideally in business management, finance, engineering or sustainability
  • Confident with facing clients
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills
