YouCompli is seeking a Business Development Representative to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. You will seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until the deal is closed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned).
- Finds new sales opportunities by cold calling, using LinkedIn Navigator and other databases
- Acts as the first point of contact for new sales leads, gathering basic data and directing the leads down the appropriate process to: (1) Disqualify early in the screening process or (2) Present our solution/company to potential clients
- Enter information into the CRM regarding incoming custom lead opportunities., and notify the sales representative
- Responds to custom lead form submissions, customer inquiries and requests for information
- Helps to maintain direct customer contact, contact throughout the sales and post-sale processes
- Engage with marketing to increase sales opportunities
- Attends and participates in weekly Team Sales Meetings
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with all internal team members and our clients
- Manages day-to-day client communications and relationships
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (Hubspot experience a +)
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
