Job description
You will join The family Hub Team in Lichfield and be part of a wider team of Early Help Practice Development Officers, each assigned to one of the 8 districts within Staffordshire.
You will work collaboratively with partners within the Lichfield district to develop, support, monitor and coordinate earliest and early help effective practice development and improvement to support children, young people and families.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe EPDO role is varied and provides opportunities for innovation.
One of the current priorities for the role is to support the Staffordshire SEND & Inclusion district model to support our vision that all children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities and/or at risk of exclusion are able to reach their full potential.
EPDOs coordinate the hub model within their district. They are supported by full-time business support administrators and work in conjunction with SEND hubs, the Local Management Group and the Inclusion and SEND Partnership Board chairs.
The Ideal CandidateYou will have significant experience of working with children, young people and families.
EPDOs work with a significant amount of autonomy, supported by their line manager and the other EPDOs within the team.
We are looking for a motivated, well organised candidate who is able to work with and support other stakeholders within the district to improve outcomes for children and young people.
