The Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) Team handles the Middle Mile transportation network for Amazon, ensuring that the customer orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. Amazon Freight Partner program is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Business Coach. In this role, you will manage the partner growth for our Linehaul Carriers to support the Amazon's Middle Mile Transportation network.

Key job responsibilities
This role offers an opportunity to make business-critical decisions that will maximize our Carriers’ business knowledge and readiness. You will work on defining the Carrier Growth strategy to transform the current transportation environment in line with program strategy. We are seeking candidates who are able to:
  • Build and Maintain best in class support for LSPs with scalable tracking process
  • Partner with cross functional stakeholders to promote a culture of professional service
  • Support the growth of Amazon transport network
  • Ensure all the processes are compliant with local regulations and standards
  • Identify, develop and improve strategies for the AFP onboarding and training process
  • Look at continuous improvement while these businesses scale up
  • Provide reports to leaders of health and training proficiency on regular basis (using Excel, Access, SQL and or other data management systems)
A day in the life
Engaging with HGV Freight Partners Face-to-Face and telephone/Chime. Discussing and coaching them around Legal compliance, Safety & Operational Performance, as well as managing them in line with Service Level Agreements

About the team
The Team's main objective is to take Entrepreneurs with little or no Transport experience and turn them into the most compliant HGV operators in the UK Transport Network.

Haydock, GBR | Leeds, GBR

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • experience in driving process improvements experience
