Role Description
About the Role
In this position you will provide high quality administrative and business support relating to both internal and external matters. Activities include preparing reports for meetings, conferences, and events, organising logistics and diary requirements as well as providing assistance to academic, commercial and ad-hoc administrative functions.
You will often act as a main point of contact for the Head of Centre, and support Senior Academics with a range of matters, including liaising with partner institutions and commercial clients and generally supporting and independently resolving a range of queries and matters that may arise. You will also provide project support, including Gantt, template creation, interaction with contracts, pre and post award teams, interactions with partners and other teams.
About You
You will have experience in administration/business support within an academic and/or engineering environment as well as experience in completing tasks by organising and coordinating information and requirements, planning, arranging, setting meeting schedules, monitoring, and publishing results, and working with financial information and providing project support.
