Wealth Management & Insurance is an exciting, vibrant, and growing area of the Bank.

Providing Investment and Insurance solutions to our customers, working closely with colleagues from across the Bank, our third-party partners and our global teams.

This role will be primarily focused on Change Management, providing support to strategic and business critical change initiatives and programmes of work across the division. You’ll be ensuring the implementation of change is delivered smoothly and utilises Santander methodology, meeting our governance needs. You’ll consider the operational and technical side of change, including impacts to business processes, systems, and technology.

Co-ordinating and collaborating with teams across, and outside of, the Wealth and Insurance teams, including Financial Planning, Private Banking, Operations, Third Party Partners, IT and Risk within SIM, SISUK, Santander UK and beyond.

The difference you'll make.

  • Supporting the smooth implementation of new products, services and functions by assessing the impact of change from process, technology and people perspectives, ensuring change governance standards and requirements are considered.

  • Taking proactive personal responsibility for ‘doing the right thing’ in compliance with regulatory requirements and our frameworks and policies and anticipating risks and issues associated to the change.

  • Working across multiple deliveries, responsible for Change management within each area and collaborating with business sponsors, stakeholders, technology teams and 3rd parties

  • Producing written documentation to support analysis or governance requirements, reporting on findings and to present stakeholders when necessary.

What you'll bring.

  • Problem solving skills and ability to break down complex problems into manageable pieces and propose a course of action.

  • Organised with an ability to work under pressure or with multiple competing priorities, and plan and prioritise own workload in support of and delivering to deadlines.

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Ability to build rapport with stakeholders and demonstrate influencing skills along with confidence to ask appropriate questions.

  • Experience operating and delivering in a Change environment and meeting deadlines.

  • Able to work independently with limited guidance from project manager, and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of investigation techniques, business process modelling, requirements development and impact assessment.

What else you need to know.

This is a full-time permanent position offering flexible working between home and one of our head offices. Candidates therefore need to be within a commutable distance of a head office location.
