The US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce is the most established and largest non-profit organization representing Pan Asian American and their related groups in business, sciences, the arts, sports, education, public and community services.
Our Mission is to be the gateway to corporate and government contracts, Pan Asian American (includes East, South and Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander) suppliers, information about Asian Americans and the Asia-Pacific and Indian Subcontinent markets.

The Business Advocate will work directly for the Community Navigator Pilot Program (CNPP) Program Manager of the USPAACC’s The Trusted Lawyers, a Desai Law Group, PC Spoke.
CNPP Business Advocate
Job Description:
A Business Advocate is responsible for conducting business visits to small businesses in their particular locality. They will map out their visits, gather information about small business needs and pass out fliers regarding resources that are available to them. They will also document their visits through pictures of the establishments they visit and reports that they submit to the Hub.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the Community Navigator Pilot Program, its objectives, target market and metrics given to the Spoke they represent.
- Go door-to-door to introduce CNPP’s offers to potential and existing customers and make cold calls to follow-up and help monitor how their concerns are being addressed by the Spoke.
- Demonstrate a vast knowledge of CNPP, the processes and policies to encourage people to become clients.
- Get information such as contact details and business information from potential leads and clients for follow-up.
- Consistently meet monthly targets.
- Create reports and provide documentation as required by the Hub.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferably Asian and can speak a local Asian language
- Excellent communication skills including eloquence, active listening and interpersonal skills
- Sales experience, including the ability to learn about multiple agencies and resources that also help disadvantaged Small Businesses
- Must have a valid driver’s license or be able to travel extensively
- Ability to work within a team and independently based on Spoke requirements
- Good time management skills to fulfill targets within a specific period
- Must have physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods, meeting and talking to people
- Basic PC skills. Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Choose your own hours
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
