About Our Client
Page Personnel are recruiting a Purchase to Pay Business Partner to join a legal firm based in Leeds city centre. This job role is available due to company growth. The Purchase to Pay Business Partner will join the Accounts Payable team. This role is a key role in terms of managing the firms Purchase Orders in the P2P system, ensuring they are raised correctly and managed to ensure a clean book of data is always kept.
Job Description
- Ensuring business SLA's are met
- Monthly Reporting to the Firms Accountants
- Weekly Reporting to Stakeholders and Various Teams within the firm.
- Management of utilised Purchase Orders
- Management of Purchase Orders over 6 months old.
- Setting up New Vendor Accounts.
- Daily Reporting on systems to ensure All exports are successful
- Supplier Reconciliations
- Ensure financial controls within the finance system are adhered to
- Maintaining effective stakeholder relationships through UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia
- Communicating Effectively to the business to ensure data Accuracy
- Supporting the Accounts payable Team with Training.
- Supporting the Business with Training on our P2P system.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience working within Accounts Payable
- Experience of working with Finance / Procurement P2P systems (desirable)
- Ability to adapt to new working methods and work across multiple platforms and software solutions
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and work with relevant team lead to deliver change
- Excellent attention to detail & numeracy essential
- Good knowledge of UK VAT rules, and overseas equivalent (desirable)
- Good communication and customer service skills (internal and external), with the ability to be assertive when necessary
- Ability to adapt communication style and delivery method to different audiences, including working with colleagues and suppliers across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a good team player
- Excellent IT skills including Excel
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a challenging fast-paced environment
