Operations support the wider organisation, by delivering Finance, Facilities, Technology, Projects, and Regulatory Maintenance services
Team: ICT
The ICT team deliver technology service across the JFSC. The BAS team is part of the ICT team and directly manages business applications and project teams. We manage change and facilitate process improvement
Position:
The BAS team is responsible for installing, upgrading, maintaining software/applications and also working with databases, operating systems and networking. The competencies for this role will help you deliver the following outcomes:
- Properly managed configurations of all platforms in use
- Excellent Tier 2 technical support for the JFSC’s core business systems.
- Full utilization and understanding of all deployed applications by targeted business users.
- Minimal technical disruptions especially during diagnosis/problem solving by service providers
- Business users’ satisfaction of all applications and technical compatibility across systems.
You will be supporting the team by making sure that all business applications are aligned with business strategies and objectives. Your role directly impacts productivity by ensuring that the business derives maximum value from all applications in use
This role presents an excellent opportunity to learn and develop a range of technical and interpersonal skills leading to a wide range of career opportunities and specialisms as well as a good general understanding of finance and regulation. You will collaborate with different teams, handle various business cases, and build quality work relationships throughout the JFSC.
The team will support you in honing your natural problem-solving skills into effective troubleshooting techniques. You will be supporting a wide range of applications thereby broadening your knowledge and further enhancing your competencies. If you love solving puzzles, interacting with helping people this could be for you – Business User experience is key in this role.
Requirements:
This role would suit anyone with basic experience in information systems and is interested in developing a career in IT. The willingness to attain relevant Microsoft qualification for SharePoint, Power Platform or Dynamics 365 would be great. Understanding ITIL Foundation level, Service Transition and Microsoft Cloud would be an advantage.
