In this role you will learn and implement applications to support the organisation – You will embed good practice, versioning and review new technology in functional areas such as “Design & Engineering”, “Sales” & “Finance”
What You Can Expect from the Role
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Support the selection and deployment of applications within your sphere of responsibility
- Support the business strategies to gain efficiency from our application estate
- Administer, update, tune & diagnose both internal and third-party applications
- Monitor the software application, document, and analyse problems, and publish maintenance schedule(s)
- Maintain system documentation
- Interact with the business and evaluates vendor products, whilst providing advice and training
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
- Troubleshoot, and resolve escalated reported problems
- Provides technical support for reporting tools and dashboards
- Contributes to and supports feasibility studies and business case preparation
- Formulates measures to track impact and benefit delivery, ensuring achievement of business case benefit is achieved
- Interprets business need and identifies solution recommendations to business problems
- Supports testing of new or improved functionality; develops robust data models using internal and
- external data sources.
- Creates and maintains technical and/or user documentation to a high standard and back up files to ensure instant recovery of systems and data if problems occur
The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have
Essential Criteria:
1+ years' experience in a Business Based Admin role
