ABOUT US

Candyspace are experts in designing, building and optimising digital products. We create websites, mobile apps and commerce solutions for ambitious organisations investing in growth and digital transformation. We are trusted to deliver by some of the world’s best-known brands, including ITV, Rolls-Royce, Mazda, Mars and Colgate.

Working at Candyspace is about building products that people love. We all work hard to define the sweetspot between customer demand and the needs of the businesses who employ us. And by building products that they all love, we love those products too. To do this you will be part of a diverse and inclusive team of like-minded people, ambitious for themselves and passionate about what they do. You will work on exciting and challenging projects.

Candyspace is an equal opportunities employer and we strongly encourage people of colour, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and non-binary people, veterans, parents, and individuals with disabilities to apply for roles here. If you need reasonable adjustments at any point in the application or interview process, please let us know and feel free to note which pronouns you use (she/her, he/him, they/them etc).

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a passionate Business Analyst to work on one of our well-known clients to help industry leaders solve complex problems as a team, someone who is excited and understands the impact of applied AI&ML software on clients’ problems. You will be working independently to build business intelligence - identify new markets and opportunities for products and consulting in the B2B sector, reporting to the Chief Product Officer and thereby join a young team who wants to challenge what the industry has to offer.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for informing and inspiring new business opportunities for our three-fold product suite - in AI & ML software products, cultural change training and an educational membership provision serving long term client engagements. As we operate in a volatile tech environment, your job is to continually screen the horizon for changes in the market and competition alike and inspire new product development. We are looking for someone who is commercially aware, has a keen interest and basic understanding in AI & ML software and is trained in writing proposals and business plans for new services we want to offer. We are looking for an engaged, curious person who shows proactivity in continuous improvement, and a team player who closely works with the product management team and beyond.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for B-2-B industrial challenges, with prior experience or interest around manufacturing topics, such as complex supply chains, logistics and sustainability.

My client pioneer cutting-edge technologies that deliver the cleanest, safest and most competitive solutions to our planet’s vital power needs. They embrace the power of data and technology and aim to be Digital First in everything they do.

To ensure they continue to be pioneers of their industry, they have a team of over 16,500 engineers around the globe. They include everyone from world experts in their field to those who manage hundreds of people and millions of dollars’ worth of investments. They recruit engineers at all levels and in a range of disciplines. And while they encourage specialisation, they also offer freedom to cross-specialise and develop skills across a number of different areas.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Identify potential clients for our existing software
  • Understand and analyse functional impacts of changes in AI & ML software on client offerings and our competitive position
