Role Description
The CIB Banking Technology team are looking for a Business Analyst to join their Deal Execution team which supports Front Office Banking. The role involves managing multiple stakeholders and product partners, to deliver best in class solutions.
The role will be responsible for the design, analysis and program management of multiple software applications, across a wide sector of the Banking business - with a key focus on Business Controls & Efficiency.
The ability to engage with users, perform detailed process / workflow analysis, data analysis and ideate logical, efficient solutions are essential elements in our design process. The role will have significant connectivity with upstream data providers and directly with bankers, our primary customers.
Providing reporting is a key element of this team, and candidates with experience in Tableau are desired.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake analysis of complex client workflows and datasets
- Design solutions in partnership with end users (Bankers, Business Managers, Control Management), the UX team, architecture, and your software engineering feature team
- Define the delivery of features for a program of work by articulating user-stories, writing functional and non-functional requirement documents, and executing a clear release with appropriate marketing and feedback collection
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the team, understanding our customer's needs and business drivers to shape appropriate solutions
- Hold the role of Product Owner in Agile ceremonies, working with your development team to prioritise work to ensure delivery, and thinking laterally to resolve blockers
- Ensuring appropriate use of data in features and continuous improvement of data standards
- Be responsible and accountable to the quality of the end-user experience through user research, metrics, and stakeholder relationships; including the influencing of prioritisation and direction
- Provide design direction on the development of new reporting functionality
- Ensure features delivered on the platform are valuable to end-users and contribute to the program's objectives and key results by monitoring the success of deliverables, and influence the roadmap with iterations that will provide continued improvement
