Overview:
Due to the high growth of the business over multiple acquisition waves (most recent being Findus Switzerland & Fortenova), a Business Transformation project is underway to Simplify, Standardise and Automate the fragmented Business Processes across 15 markets and dozens of locations through implementation of a Global Process Owner organisation.
This Business Transformation programme is underpinned by Nomad’s largest ever Technology Programme, a full S4 HANA, IBP and Ariba implementation.
1. Attendance and participation in design, build, test, and operational workshops and activities in the programme, outlined over the next 2 years. This will include as examples;
a.Finalised Design Documents for Transformation Programme
1. You will be providing a subject matter expertise around the way we work today, and how we move forward into a new way of working.

This Business Transformation programme is underpinned by Nomad’s largest ever Technology Programme, a full S4 HANA, IBP and Ariba implementation.
Our programme has several objectives to achieve as part of the transformation:
- The Transformation programme will help us create an integrated business capability and ways of working that enable superior performance and return in a competitive market.
- The Transformation programme will deliver modern, scalable, and streamlined tools and processes
- The Transformation programme will help us fuel our future growth by helping and take Nomad Foods to the next level by simplifying, standardising, automating and integrating our processes.
- The Transformation programme will accelerate improvements across functions and capabilities leading to growth, faster integration, standardisation, and cost efficiency
- The Transformation programme will be accelerating growth organically through investment in integrated business capability and ways of working that facilitate superior performance and yield in a competitive market
The focus of this role is to ensure Nomad has the Business Analysis resources required to complete the Design work and deliver to a stretching timeline an IBP Response and Supply system that can be leveraged as part of a wider Planning and Manufacturing Process, and take it through to Go Live supporting user testing, training and adoption efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding existing Process Design Documents, Reviewing and approving Detailed Designs to deliver the Business Requirement.
- Analysing Change Requests and assisting GPOs and Programme Management in Cost/Benefit calculations
- Acting as a bridge between the Business Requirements gathered and the Build teams to ensure the Functional Requirements to deliver the Business Process are complete
- Work within a growing Business Analyst community to surface collective issuesConsult with the RUN organisation on the ‘as is’ issues to ensure resolution in the ‘to be’ state.
- Support Organisation Change Management and Data Migration validation activities
Specifically, you will be responsible providing:
1. Attendance and participation in design, build, test, and operational workshops and activities in the programme, outlined over the next 2 years. This will include as examples;
a.Finalised Design Documents for Transformation Programme
b.Build approval (via Sprint/Demo)
c.Test (Unit/SIT) Sign off and UAT support (Script preparation, triage, resolution)
d.Input to Training workstream/materials
e. Acceptance into Support documentation/Knowledge Transfer
1. You will be providing a subject matter expertise around the way we work today, and how we move forward into a new way of working.
2. You will be supporting the GPO’s directly in engagement at workshop level, that includes the review and sign off of workshops and completing specific tasks assigned during these phases.
3. As part of the journey, you will become wider owners of go live activities, which mean you will be working the business as usual organisation within Nomad, to prepare and educate on the future ways of working.
4. You will be supporting other stakeholders in the programme, including the Programme Office, testing lab, WiPro technical leads, and assessment, design, and change forums.
5. You should bring to each day of the programme, a can-do approach to finding a solution, and working collaboratively with other Nomad and non-nomad staff.
Qualifications:
Essential
- Deep knowledge of IBP Supply and Response including Optimisation and Substitution
- Real Time Integration approaches
- Understanding of end to end Planning Processes delivered by IBP (Demand, IO, Control Tower, S&OP)
- Experience in Master Data impacts on Production Planning across Materials Management and Plant Maintenance
- Fluent written and spoken English Language
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Professional with a proven track record and experience in using Business Analysis to unlock improvements in Processes and
- Ability to plan tactically and adjust to unexpected events.
- Service delivery and improvement mind set.
- Able to work as part of a team across remote locations
- Proactive, works with a sense of urgency, creative about how issues can be resolved, able to think analytically
- Works collaboratively, constructively challenges, gets key stakeholders “on side”, delivers results through others
- Experience of operating with outsourced and offshore service providers (Wipro, TechM, ATOS, SAP) including top 4 consultancies (KPMG, Deliottes, PWC, EY)
- Experience of working in an international and fast paced environment
- Experience of turning organisations around to becoming driven by standardised processes
