Business Analyst Placement Student – Supply Chain
We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst Placement Student to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our corporate business unit in Daventry.
During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Development of reporting capabilities for supply chain Planning Parameters (Plan For Every Part) ensuring we have data integrity on all our analytics and reports
- Use common processes and tools, and information systems to enable supply chain analysis and interpretation of data.
- Use common diagnostic tools to identify areas for improvement and convert to action plans.
- Involvement and support in creating maintaining and steering projects that optimize supply chain across multiple sites within region.
- Development of value stream maps to support and enable continuous improvement activity,
- Design and implementation of reporting suites that will be presented across the EMEA region design, creation and maintenance of supply chain tools to be used by the team and internal customers. Potentially using Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Ability to understand data, solve problems and think innovatively
- Working towards a degree in supply chain related area (planning, logistics, purchasing)
- Excellent IT Skills, in particular Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint (Access and Visio beneficial)
- Works well as part of a team with good communication skills and comfortable working across multiple territories, self-sufficient, happy to network with stakeholders
