Do you enjoy being the “voice of the business” ensuring that our technology teams deliver solutions that meet business needs? If so, this opportunity is for you!

Deloitte is looking for mid-level Business Analysts to join its talented Business Change & Analysis team.

Connect to your career at Deloitte

Deloitte drives progress. Using our vast range of expertise, that covers audit, risk advisory, and consulting services across tax, legal, business, technology and corporate finance, we help our clients become leaders wherever they choose to compete. To do this, we invest in outstanding people. We build teams of future thinkers, with diverse talents and backgrounds, and empower them all to reach for and achieve more.

What brings us all together at Deloitte? It’s how we approach the thousands of decisions we make every day. How we behave, our beliefs and our attitudes. In other words: our values. Whatever we do, wherever we are in the world, we lead the way, serve with integrity, take care of each other, foster inclusion, and collaborate for measurable impact. These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.

Connect to your opportunity

An exciting opportunity to be a part of the innovation and evolution of our Business Analysis practice.

This role will provide the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders across our firm. You’ll use and learn traditional and innovative tools and techniques to demonstrate how our team can enable positive transformation across our business. We believe it is not a necessity to already have experience in professional services and believe that the more diverse industry experience you bring to the team, the better.

Your role as a Business Analyst (BA) is to be the “voice of the business” ensuring that our technology teams deliver solutions that meet business needs. You’ll do this by proactively understanding our business, eliciting requirements and continually looking for ways to improve the user experience. In addition, your role will support the Head of BA to evolve the practice, including being a role model and leader for other members on the team.

Our BA’s are business and user experienced focused, with excellent relationship management skills and a creative problem-solving approach.

Specific responsibilities include;

  • Working with Programme and Project Managers to deliver activities in a timely fashion, ensuring optimal quality and a focus on user experience.
  • Managing diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
  • Collaborating cross-geography and cross-culture to develop relationships with practitioners to ensure diverse contribution to solutions.
  • Desire to develop individually in a lead role and support us to drive continuous improvement to ways of working within the team.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

  • An experienced BA, or equivalent experience in a role centred around process transformation or improving user experience.
  • Experience of collaborating and managing relationships with business stakeholders, at all levels, with the ability to challenge where required.
  • Experience in managing and/or mentoring and developing other team members.
  • Ability to quickly understand high level business processes and problems and present solutions and options.
  • Being a team player with an ability to work collaboratively and positively with others in an open, friendly, flexible and facilitating manner.
  • Ability to define scope and distil lots of information into high level understandable concepts and business language.
  • Experience of process mapping, requirements elicitation techniques & Business Case writing.
  • Ability to navigate through and manage change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a complex partnership model, with an ability to decide which style of analysis and project delivery is appropriate.

Desirable skills:

  • If you have skills or experience or qualifications in any of the following areas, it’s advantageous but not critical:
    • Lean six sigma certification
    • Designing user experiences and design thinking
    • BPMN

Connect to your business - Enabling Functions

Collaboration is central to everything we do at Deloitte. Bringing your individual skills and experience, and sharing your specialist knowledge, is how you’ll make a far-reaching impact. Come join us.

Personal independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints. This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm. The recruitment team will provide further detail as you progress through the recruitment process.

Connect with your colleagues

“Good HR (Human Resource) is about far more than bringing the right new talent into the business. In addition to leading the way in recruitment, we are the ones making sure that flexibility and inclusivity are more than just soundbites.”

"The support that Deloitte offers is great, and the work is always interesting and motivating.”

"The amount of investment in me in terms of training and development has been incredible - it has undoubtedly helped me to progress my career.”
