Wipro are looking for IT Business Analysts to join the successful and growing Energy Transition practice. You will be engaged on a client project, joining the IT delivery team in their trading and supply business. This team through trusted robust data use scalable analytical models and visualisation to promote best outcome trading decisions.
Role and Responsibilities
The Business Analyst is primarily responsible for
- Identifying and documenting business requirements and working with technical teams to determine feasible solution options.
- Bring Subject Matter Expertise and domain knowledge to help organise and interpret requirements from a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Work as part of a global team energy utility / gas trading business team.
Key Skills and Experience
Business Analyst skills and techniques- Knowledge of physical commodities trading markets and organisations (LNG, Physical Gas and Oil)
- Experience working in geographically distributed teams.
- Delivery using Agile methods.
- Be able to capture business problems, value drivers and functional / non functions requirements..
- Asses the risk, feasibility, opportunities and business impact
- Team player and able to collaborate, proactively communicates and shares understanding and experience within a team.
- Clear communicator who is able to work in a multicultural/Lingual environment.
Desirable
Experience of Power BI, Power Query and Power Automate.- Knowledge of metals, power or emissions trading
- Ability to use approved business analyst modelling techniques to capture issues, define requirements and communicate solutions.
- Experience working in geographically distributed teams.
- Detailed knowledge of data management best practice.
