This is an incredibly exciting time to join our Corporate Transformation team! We’re a new local authority, created in April 2021. We are shaping what the transformation team looks like at West Northants Council, so there is plenty of opportunity to develop processes, and shape our offering so we can provide the best possible service to our colleagues in our Corporate directorate.
2 Year Fixed Term Role
What will you be doing?Working alongside in an integrated and ambitious PMO you will join a community of project practitioners and professionals all dedicated to embracing and delivering change. The remit of the role is as ambitious as you are with projects ranging from large scale service operating model change, to managing several more technical projects as we look to secure strategic shifts in our technology, system and data architecture we have opportunities to support and stretch you in your career.
You will join a multidisciplinary service with expertise in programme and project management, business analysis both technical and change orientated as well as solutions and technical architects under pinned with a coordinating PMO.
Specifically you will be part of a new and growing team looking to create a sector leading business analysis function which can turn its hand to a vast arrange of business problems, system environments and technologies. In this role however, we are looking for the candidate who you can join the dots and look at an opportunity as more than the sum of its parts.
About youYou will have a background in business analysis, requirements gathering and cataloguing and be comfortable deploying standard tools and techniques. You will also be keen to work with the business analysis community to develop practice and strive for continuous improvement.
However, this role and the ethos of the team is around getting the most from the people who make the systems work. So, to be a success you will need great stakeholder management skills, a natural curiosity to solve problems and find solutions as well as the ability to manage multiple assignments.

The council is in the process of implementing a new pay structure and terms and conditions which will be applicable to this role. The outcome could result in a future variation to the advertised salary, and this will be discussed at interview.
