Warwickshire County Council are looking for Business Analysts to expand our established team within the Portfolio Management Office.
We are looking for Business Analysts to:
- Work alongside Project Managers to drive through projects
- Investigate problems and opportunities in existing and new services
- Produce diagrams, wireframes and simple prototypes
- Understand the business and ensure the needs are met
- Analyse and visualise statistical data to facilitate good decision making
- Continuously improve our processes, systems and way of working
- Proactively give feedback based on your expertise
- Discover and learn relevant new skills and apply them to solve real-world problems
- Contribute to accurate, useful and accessible documentation
- Present to peers, stakeholders and senior management
- Collect requirements and run user workshops
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in a Business Analyst role using project and analysis techniques and supporting tools for requirement definition and documentation
- Strong analytical skills, ability to understand problems and express the complexity of them in clear terms to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of BA methodologies
- Ability to take the initiative, be assertive and think strategically.
- Ability to deliver quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Aptitude for multi-tasking, working to emerging & tight timelines.
- Excellent organisational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Facilitation and interview skills.
- Capable of prioritising and managing own workload.
- Quality focus and attention to detail.

The positions are offered as Full Time but applicants wishing Part Time work will be considered
We work flexibly either in the office or from home but due to the nature of the work the successful candidate may be required to attend project meetings in and around Warwickshire. Our base is in Warwick itself.
