What you’ll do
The Business Analyst role helps to support and maximize the effectiveness of our Portfolio Leads, supporting the creation of user stories to an adequate level of granularity, assessing options for technical and business feasibility and ensuring development is aligned to business outcomes.
Working closely with the Portfolio Lead to clarify goals and business value outcomes you will be responsible for providing business information during release and iteration planning, as well as supporting the review, refining and re-prioritising the release backlog. You will also be providing regular feedback by testing deliverables against a user story's acceptance criteria and validating that the product meets the business goals. Key accountabilities include:
Work alongside the Portfolio Leads to understand what items are in backlog and need refinement- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, managing expectations and aligning on key deliveries
- Discuss with all stakeholders (customer, technical squads and Portfolio Leads) to make sure there is no gaps and clear alignments on delivery
- Create user stories with relevant acceptance criteria
- Co-ordinating testing and business adoption of deliveries
Who you are
Demonstrable BA experience, ideally within a large corporate environment- Telecommunications experience is desirable
- Excellent communicator with good presentation skills
- Critical Analysis Skills
- Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving
- Awareness of Agile ways of working is desirable
- Able to interpret business user case into a technical delivery
