Vanguard Healthcare Solutions is a fast-growing company. We are a UK-based, privately owned, international provider of infrastructure and clinical services supporting healthcare clients worldwide. Vanguard Healthcare Solutions was established in 1999.

Our purpose-designed and built mobile and modular facilities provide our clients with new or replacement healthcare spaces including operating theatres, endoscopy suites and sterilisation and diagnostic departments. As part of our solution to our clients we also support them with clinical teams and equipment for our facilities.

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our IT Team, based at Gloucester.

Key responsibilities:

Responsibilities for the IT Business Analyst role:

• Develop solutions internally and with external partners / vendors
• Project manage change from submission through to delivery, where appropriate develop measures to ensure adoption and the end state is achieved
• In collaboration with Change & Release Management and Service Delivery teams, planning the transition of projects into operational service
• Lead user acceptance testing and, in liaison with the IT Manager, represent Vanguard Healthcare Solutions on IT related matters
• Assures the delivery of business requirements to ensure that the solution is fit for purpose
• Design and implement effective processes to support each business application matching the business requirements
• Prepare budgets, review quotations, and manage all relevant controllable IT costs
• Document process maps and develop training resources and deliver training to new and existing supply chain team members
• Set up project governance and project organisations as part of project initiation, liaising with other parts of the business as necessary

Requirements:

Requirements for the IT Business Analyst role:

• Professional certification in Project Management such as PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner
• Experience of scaling and tailoring Project Management methodologies to specific situations
• Knowledge and experience of Business Analysis techniques such as stakeholder analysis, requirements gathering, process modelling and data analysis
• Experience of leading and managing projects in a professional setting, meeting project objectives and managing budgets
• Experience of the software delivery projects, working with suppliers of Commercial Off the Shelf products to tailor those products to specific needs
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Solid organisation and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
