We are currently recruiting for an IT Technical Business Analyst to work at our East Kilbride location; it’s a rare opportunity to join an exciting team. The hours are Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, with hybrid working available.
- Gather data and analyse complex business problems/needs in consultation with business managers and end users. Propose and implement new solutions.
- Systems & process analysis. E2E process mapping and re-design (as-is > to-be).
- Requirements gathering including workshop facilitation.
- Translate business needs into IT language and improve the overall quality of services and business operations.
- E2E project management/support for new IT solutions and systems.
- RAID management.
- Produce functional designs and technical specifications.
- Comfortable working in Waterfall/Agile/Hybrid project delivery environments.
- Business Change Management, Impact assessments, Gap analysis, and Readiness planning.
- Full application lifecycle management | IT Product technical ownership
- Provide incident and problem management.
- Provide change management and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage 3rd party vendors/consultants.
- Collaborate with other IT Teams; share knowledge between IT domains.
- Provide mentoring and support for less experienced team members.
- Provide IT user support, user documentation, and user training.
- University degree in a relevant subject.
- Technical Business Analyst experience in a FMCG environment is desirable.
- Considerable experience in a wide variety of BA roles i.e., Digital, ERP, Business change.
- Technical competence in; IT applications and databases, Application lifecycle management, IT Product ownership.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Adept at building effective relationships.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong focus on documentation and admin.
- Strong process mapping skills.
- Experience in system selection/build and rollout projects, and IT upgrade/refresh projects.
- Advanced M365, MS Viso and MS project skills.
- Full UK Driving license is essential.
- Willingness to travel.
- Provide technical application incident management support outside normal business hours, if required.
