Sr. Business Analyst
For a federal government client, we are looking for (4) four Senior Business Analysts for a contract position for 1 year + optional 2 years. The Senior Business Analysts will be responsible for elicitation/requirements gathering and management, enterprise analysis, solution development, and evaluation, business transformation and change, business analysis planning and delivery, and quality control and assurance with staff in Information Technology Solution department. The project the business analysts will work on is to migrate legacy record keeping (RK) data to M365. Information Management (IM).
Working environment: Hybrid -Ottawa.

Contract Start: July 3, 2023
Security Clearance: Resources have already had a federal security clearance or are able to obtain Reliability or Secret level clearances.
Experience and qualification
- University degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience as a business analyst in medium to large organizations
- Experience deploying and M365 and/or combined MS SharePoint and MS Teams project within the last five (5) years in medium to large Organizations.
- Strong experience in elicitation/requirements gathering and management, enterprise analysis, solution development and evaluation, business transformation and change, business analysis planning and delivery, quality control, and assurance.
- Experience with various tools, such as MS Office, OpenText, MS Visio, etc
Tasks
- Consult and collaborate with IM, IT, security, project, and business stakeholders (individually or by facilitating group sessions) to determine business requirements.
- Consult external stakeholders
- Participate in project meetings.
- Elicit, define, document, or update business rules and requirements documentation associated with IM systems or tools.
- Develop and update use case specifications and diagrams to describe the actions associated with IM systems or tools.
- Prepare and contribute to strategies and reports, and make recommendations for how to proceed.
- Develop test plans, acceptance test criteria, and test scripts for acceptance testing associated with IM systems or tools.
- Develop training and awareness materials and documentation (guides and FAQs) associated with IM systems or tools.
- Develop communication and change management products associated with IM systems or tools.
- Support Project Management activities associated with the development and maintenance of IM systems or tools, including contributing to project plans and lessons learned.
- Research tools-specific functionalities and features.
- May be assigned to work on other projects and initiatives in support of the delivery of IM/IT systems or tools.

Salary: $60.00-$75.00 per hour
