We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our amazing team.
Location: Gilwell Park, Chingford, London (with hybrid working)
Salary: £45,718.06 per annum (Inclusive of Market Supplement and Outer London Weighting)
Term: 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Working Hours: 35 hours per week

About the Business Analyst Role:
As our Business Analyst, you’ll need to understand the current organisational situation, identify future needs and create solutions to help meet those needs, usually (but not always) in relation to information technology and software systems.
What we are looking for in our Business Analyst:
- Experience of working on transition and change projects, including scoping and discovery, advocating for customers during design and delivery, and helping to embed new ways of working
- Know how to produce clearly written documentation to support your work and report on your findings, and give presentations to communicate the benefits of change and address any uncertainty
- Demonstrable facilitation skills - knowledge of how to promote empathy, ideation, iteration and collaboration, and experience in organising and running workshops
- Has a broad skillset of problem solving and continuous improvement techniques, and experience of successfully applying these tools
- Understand how to work with SMEs and non-technical stakeholders to identify, agree, and 10 prioritise organisational needs and wants, including using appropriate tools and frameworks
- Understand how to refine and present organisational needs and wants as user stories about functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience of working with volunteers (Desirable)
- Knowledge of Agile development and Dynamics 365 (Desirable)
Key responsibilities as our Business Analyst:
- Using appropriate tools to discover, map, and evaluate business processes; championing Lean principles and challenging current operational delivery behaviours to suggest process improvements
- Leading requirements gathering workshops with internal and external stakeholders, including volunteers and third parties
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts, appropriately tailored to a broad audience including cross-functional teams, managers and volunteers
- Supporting managers and project managers through scoping and discovery, project planning and supplier tender processes
- Considering current performance against future ambitions, and collaborating with key stakeholders and SMEs to develop KPIs and OKRs to measure success
- Supporting operational teams to adopt new technologies and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
