The Role
To identify, define and document business processes and requirements helping the Trust to maximise the value of its Technology, both existing and new. To act as a liaison between the business and the Technology team playing a key role in influencing change across the Trust.
Main Responsibilities: (but not limited to)
- Lead process improvement initiatives across the Trust helping to identify opportunities to streamline business processes
- Gain a good understanding of relevant business areas in order to be able to document requirements, make recommendations and propose solutions
- Present findings and recommendations with confidence, communicating these to sponsors and key stakeholders
- Use a variety of techniques to understand business requirements such as interviews, workshops, surveys, observations, site visits etc
- Have confidence to constructively challenge stakeholders to maximise opportunities for process improvement initiatives
- Build relationships with stakeholders in the organisations to identify improvement opportunities
About You
- Demonstrable experience of the application of business analysis investigation techniques (eg interviews, observations, workshops, surveys etc)
- Experience in understanding explicit and implicit needs and requirements of various stakeholders.
- Ability to review, document and analyse complex processes, both as is and to be, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Understanding of the social care sector and the challenges faced.
- Strong IT skills including the ability to open and send emails using Outlook, the ability to use Microsoft 365 and the ability to navigate the internet.
- Valid UK Driving licence.
- Ability/willingness to travel and stay overnight, as required.
- Demonstrate flexibility with respect to working hours and location to ensure the successful delivery of projects
