There is a place for you at T. Rowe Price to grow, contribute, learn, and make a difference. We are a premier asset manager focused on delivering global investment management excellence and retirement services that investors can rely on today and in the future. The work we do matters. We invite you to explore the opportunity to join us and grow your career with us.
The Front Office Investments Technology Group is looking for a hands-on Business Analyst to join in an individual contributor capacity to support the global growth of our Portfolio Management Platform and User Interface strategy.
This will include (but not be limited to) providing input to the ongoing development of the current portfolio management platform, including portfolio/benchmark analysis, performance and risk analysis, portfolio modeling and order entry, as well as other tools used by Portfolio Managers to help them make better investment decisions on behalf of our clients.
The role will work closely with senior leaders in TRP business and technology groups to understand current and future service needs and work with engineers across the PM Platforms organization to serve those needs using an agile, test-learn-optimize approach that generates real impact. Product growth will be along several dimensions: deepening the existing Equity portfolio management capability, extending the functionality to other asset classes, and broadening the scope of the product’s user interface to incorporate functionality from other applications.
The successful candidate will have recent (ideally current) experience working in the front office and delivering world-class Portfolio Management solutions, a lean-in mindset, be confident facing off to non-technical (business) as well as technology audiences, and leading, communicating and championing at senior levels.
Strong communication skills are key, as the successful applicant will liaise with both technology, management and the investments business stakeholders. Incumbents help to define business requirements, contribute to the product strategy and roadmap, create application, process and data specifications and ensure business value is understood in governance and prioritization processes.
