We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst to join our IT team at our fantastic Company nestled in Lacock, Wiltshire. The primary role of the Business Analyst is to support the delivery of efficient business processes, through the implementation of process change and systems improvement. This includes performing detailed requirements analysis; documenting processes; contributing to projects and managing small projects; managing testing by documenting test scripts, managing testing and review results.
Key Tasks & Duties
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining our ERP (JD Edwards).
- Configuring functions and workflow to facilitate ERP (JD Edwards) integration with other applications.
- Defining requirements, scope and objectives related to business processes.
- Translating business requirements into systems solutions.
- Creating user guides, training material, policies, and other pertinent documentation for internal and external partners.
- Researching, troubleshooting, and mitigating transactional and other ERP issues.
- Performing business systems and workflow analysis and disseminating technical communications.
- Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing customer and supplier relationships.
- Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers.
- Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive).
- Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
- Serve as a liaison between Operations and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement, and implementations.
- Develop and execute test plans.
- Support system conversions, upgrades, enhancements.

Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE’/A-Levels
- General knowledge of ERP\MRP applications and how they work for functional areas such as Finance, Order Management, Engineer to Order, Warehouse/Inventory and Reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work with functional leaders and team members to discover, document, design and implement business processes in an ERP application platform.
- Basic Project Management skills to build, manage and execute a plan — both in terms of self-management as well as working with small process improvement teams.
- Ability to articulate, document and design transactional and analytical reports for delivery through reporting and analysis platforms.
- Data analysis – Must have proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a limited basis.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Health and Safety

- Only Operate Machinery you are trained to use.
- Ensure you use the correct PPE for the task and that the PPE is in good condition.
- Ensure correct manual handling procedures are followed.
- Report and H&S concerns immediately.
Food Safety
- Level 2 or above Food Safety is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
- Must be willing to undertake the food safety qualification during probationary period. Employment confirmation is based on ability to pass these mandatory qualifications.
- Comply with all hygiene and food safety procedures.
- Report and Food Safety concerns immediately.

Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
